Thank you all for your support over the past four years. We hope you continue to support PBMTV as we reorganize our network for future projects. Public Broadcasting Music Television will not be going away. We will however be ceasing our streaming operations for the meantime.

Our goal is to relaunch with a completely new set of functionality for artists and their fans. Some of this functionality will continue to be an artists profile page with links to all your social media. We plan to add a Video On Demand Library for each artists, as well as an audio library and an image gallery. This will be added to the new streaming server providing all artists with a free streamkey to stream video and audio directly to their profile page. Along with all of this, we are working on adding Multi Language Closed Captioning. This will make our content more accessable around the world. This will be added to a streamlined Booking Platform that will give our member events and venues easier access to the artists on our platform. We hope that these additions will help make our network the hub of independent music and art from around the world.

We also have plans to start building local networks within PBMTV so artists and venues can have a place to communicate and socialize, bringing the independent music and art community that music closer together. A new website will be launched sometime soon where you can sign up for updates to our site as well as join to support us during our rebuild.

We hope you continue to support PBMTV as we create these new changes for our artists and the communities their represent. As you can see, we have massive goal for 2025 and we could use your help to make that possible. Thank you for your support of PBMTV over the past four years. It has been a fun and crazy journey. Last week, we downgraded our streaming server to something more affordable since we were running dangerously low on funds. During this change, something got messed up on the website and disconnected all our live streaming services. We are trying to do everything we can to get this back up and online. So far, we have made very little progress. In the past few months, our daily visitor traffic has dropped dangerously low. This technical issue will likely lose us our regular international viewers. It is also costing us the support of our artists, as they have more stable services on twitch and YouTube. So, while we see if we can get things working again, we are looking at ways to reorganize the network to keep the nonprofit organization of Public Broadcasting Music Television operational, even with a different look. This network needs to be a community supported network, and if we do not have the community's support, then we are not doing our part for the community we represent, independent artists. We have a beautiful vision for this project, and we can only see that vision through with more help from excited and dedicated community builders. It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the cancellation of For Our Generation - A PBMTV Fundraiser. Because of the venue change, the loss of promo time, and other factors, we have to date sold a total of two tickets. With the event only ten days away, I felt the need to give the artists booked to play this event the opportunity to find something else for that night and weekend.

This is a very difficult thing that we must do. This fundraiser was meant to help keep Public Broadcasting Music Television alive until we were able to get more sustainable funding. Without the fundraising event, I do not see how that will be possible. It was going to be difficult with the event either way, but with the organization running out of funds while having growing monthly expenses is not sustainable without consistent financial support, which I have not been able to acquire.

With that being said, I will keep the channel running as long as I can. We may keep broadcasting on our Twitch Channel, twitch.tv/pbmtv . I'm not sure what the future of PBMTV holds. This may be the end. We will see if the project made a big enough impact on someone that they might want to help save it.

If not, it has been a wild ride. There are too many people to thank so I won't bother trying. This post will end up being a mile long. I don't know what I am going to do with this massive library or content I have. Might as well just upload it to YouTube.

Maddy O'Neal is joining the Summer Camp event Summer Camp Presents: Solshine Reverie 2024! This event has an amazing lineup and we are so excited to see Maddy continue her world travels at this huge event! If you are in the Illinois area this May, check out Solshine Reverie!

Public Broadcasting Music Television is making some big moves in 2024 and we are seeking excited volunteers to join our growing team of dedicated staff. SHARE this post if you have friends who might be interested. PBMTV is a self-funded 501c3 organization going into its fourth year as a music and art network. With our plans for growth this year, we are likely to achieve our funding goals and become sustainably funded by our Membership Network, our Partnership Network, and our Video Production. We have many openings for Skilled Volunteers who would like to be a part of this Worldwide Network of Artists and Events. If any of the positions below sound like you, contact me right away!

GOOGLE ADS MANAGER: PBMTV has an Ad Grant with Google providing us with $10,000 a month in free Google Ads. We are seeking someone with experience in creating successful Google Ads to manage our Google Ads, Create new Google Ads for our shows and Event Partners, and update the Ads as needed.

WEBSITE DEVELOPERS: PBMTV is building a brand new website with a team of advanced Web Developers from all over the country. We are seeking people with PHP, Python, MySQL, and advanced coding experience. Our plan is to build a site that combines the best parts of YouTube, Twitch, Linktree, Shopify, with a worldwide events calendar, image galleries, and so much more, into a Nonprofit Membership Funded Online Network built for specifically for Independent Artists.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: PBMTV currently has accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Guidestar, and I am sure a few others. As our network grows, we are expected to post more and keep a continuing presence on social media. Unfortunately, as we grow, maintaining the network is the biggest priority, leaving less help available for keeping our Social Media accounts active. This position will be putting together a team to run all our social media accounts. We would like to keep PBMTV in the forefront of peoples consciousness.

GRANT MANAGER: PBMTV is applying for more and more grants. Not only are we applying for grants for PBMTV, but we are also the Fiscal Sponsor to the Arts Organizations who partner with us. So far, we have applied for three grants as the Fiscal Sponsor to our partnered Arts Organizations and received two so far. We are still waiting on the third. This means we have a much better success rate as a Nonprofit Fiscal Sponsor for grants than we have in applying for our own. In 2024, we hope to apply for dozens of grants including the National Endowment of the Arts Grant.

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR: PBMTV is a Membership Organization providing Free Memberships to Independent Artists from all over the world. We have Paid Memberships for those who would like to support PBMTV. As our Membership grows, we would like to have a team in place that is PBMTV's version of Customer Support for our Members. We would like to make sure all our members feel a part of this organization, and not just contributors to it. This position will have the freedom to build a proper team to manage all aspects of Membership.
