The Chosen Ones Foundation Our mission is to raise public awareness, acceptance and inclusion for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

11/04/2026

Creating a more inclusive community isn’t just an idea, it’s a responsibility we all share. 💙

Autism doesn’t need to be “fixed” or hidden. It needs to be understood, accepted, and embraced. Every child, every adult, every individual on the spectrum deserves to feel safe, valued, and seen exactly as they are.

Inclusion looks like patience when communication is different.
It looks like kindness when behaviors aren’t understood.
It looks like making space instead of expecting someone to fit into a box they were never meant to be in.

As a community, we have the power to create environments where differences are celebrated, not judged. Where families feel supported, not isolated. Where children grow up knowing they belong, not questioning if they do.

Let’s teach acceptance. Let’s lead with compassion. Let’s build a world where autism is not an obstacle to inclusion, but a beautiful part of human diversity.

Because when we include everyone, we all grow stronger together. 💙

Symptoms of Autism✨

Autism doesn’t always look the way people expect and sometimes the signs are easy to miss. ♾️

Here are some symptoms of autism you may not notice right away:

🧩Avoiding eye contact or finding it uncomfortable
🧩Preferring to play alone or struggling with social interaction
🧩Delayed speech or difficulty expressing thoughts
🧩Repeating words, phrases, or actions (stimming)
🧩Strong reactions to sounds, lights, textures, or smells
🧩Intense focus on specific interests or routines
🧩Difficulty with changes or transitions
🧩Trouble understanding emotions, body language, or sarcasm

Every autistic person is different and these signs can show up in unique ways. Some may be subtle, especially in young children or those who learn to “mask” their behaviors.

Awareness leads to understanding. Understanding leads to acceptance. And acceptance creates a world where everyone can thrive. ❤️💛💚💙✨

Some signs of autism aren’t obvious… but they matter just as much 💙

Autism isn’t always what people expect. It can look like:
🧩Taking things very literally
❤️Getting overwhelmed in loud or busy places
🧩Talking deeply about one favorite topic
💛Struggling to start or keep conversations going
🧩Repeating phrases or needing routines to feel safe
💚Big emotions that come out after holding it together all day

These aren’t “bad behaviors”, they’re different ways of experiencing the world.✨

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a spectrum, and every individual shows it differently. The more we understand the less we judge and the more we can support, include, and love.

Awareness is important… but acceptance changes lives 💙

What is Stimming?✨

Stimming (short for self-stimulatory behavior) is a natural way people with autism regulate their emotions, bodies, and environment. It can include movements or sounds like hand-flapping, rocking, spinning, humming, repeating words, or tapping objects.

Why does stimming happen?✨

Stimming helps individuals with ASD:
🧩Cope with overwhelming situations
🧩Express excitement, joy, or frustration
🧩Calm anxiety or sensory overload
🧩Stay focused or grounded

Important to understand:✨

Stimming is not something that needs to be “fixed.” It’s a form of communication and self-regulation. Unless it’s harmful, it should be accepted and supported, not discouraged.

Let’s shift the mindset:

Instead of asking “How do we stop it?”
We should ask “What is this person trying to tell us?”
