Wowza! The snowy landscape is a cover photo but the Trash/Recycling schedule is like Wordle!

Translation - the snow is beautiful but the delays it has caused may be a puzzler. Not to worry, we’ve got you covered.

QuickTake: trash/recycling will NOT be picked up this week (workers needed for snow management), and is delayed an extra day next week (MLK holiday). ❄️

Households will be allowed 4 bags next week.

Please look after your neighbors. Remind them of this schedule and check in to ensure they are warm with plenty of supplies, food, company as needed. ❤️

✅Last free pick up in Ward Parkway Estates for the 2023 season! 🍂🌳 Round 2 of leaf and brush collection starts is coming!

♻️NO PLASTIC!
KCMO requests you place leaves and brush neatly along the curb for pickup. Avoid plastic bags and keep your recycling and trash separate.

🤔A CONSIDERATION:
Not to 🪲bug you🐞, but an additional note…

…. A tidy property is important for community, but you may also respect and support for your insect friends and pollinators. When you’re prepping your brush pick up, consider a mini nature reserve in your garden or far corner of the yard. Your compost will also love a thick layer of yard waste. 🐜🐞🐛🐝🐿️🪲

😿DON’T WORRY:
If you miss the date (Nov 29), the city has free drop off for residents. For more tips visit 🌟

If sacks and bundles are not collected on the scheduled trash day, residents must contact 311 within 24 hours. For questions or to report service-related issues, please call 311 or 816.513.1313.
