The northern boundaries are 85th and Madison and 85th and Ward Parkway and the southern boundaries are 89th and Belleview and 89th and Ward Parkway. Ward Parkway Estates was developed by the Ward Parkway Development Co., in 1955. The majority of the homes are ranch style, with some two-story and split level homes. The neighborhood hosts 8-10 Drummond style homes (a mid-century modern home by famed
builder Donald Drummond) - these are throughout the neighborhood with a concentration on Jarboe Street (in "Jarboe Circle"). The subdivision is on the southern tip of Waldo and directly across from the Ward Parkway Shopping Center, located in the Center School District.
