We are truly honored and humbled to receive a New York State Legislative Resolution from Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon in recognition of the work our SNUG team continues to do in our community.

This award isn’t just for us it’s for every life we’ve touched, every conflict we’ve helped mediate, every young person we’ve stood beside, and every family we’ve supported. During Gun Violence Awareness Month, this recognition means even more because it reminds us why we do this work every single day.

Thank you, Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon, for recognizing our dedication and commitment to reducing gun violence in our city. We still have work to do, but we’ll continue showing up, building relationships, and fighting for a safer community.

This award belongs to the entire SNUG team and to the community we proudly serve. Together, we keep pushing forward. 🧡💙

Today our SNUG team had an amazing time at the 3rd Annual Stop Gun Violence event hosted by Rebuilding The Village. We kept the community engaged with our tie-dye SNUG T-shirt station, and it was great seeing so many people excited to make their own shirts.

We also had a dunk tank, and shoutout to the Mayor for being a good sport and taking a seat in it! 😂

Events like this remind us that violence prevention starts with bringing people together. Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the event, and helped make it a success. Together, we’re building a safer and stronger community. 💙🧡
