Have you registered for the Purple Star USA National Convening of Schools & Communities happening this week?

Join us on October 22, and make time for a session with our project manager, Timothy Mazer: “Making Support Work for Military-Connected Students Through Lessons from Public Administration.”

From confusing procedures to unclear staff responsibilities, everyday school processes can make transitions harder for military-connected families. Tim’s session will explore practical ways to reduce these barriers and use student and family feedback to strengthen support.

When a school transition raises a specific Compact question, knowing where to find the applicable rule matters.

The MIC3 Compact Rules Book, fourth edition, includes amendments through 2025 and organizes rules for records and enrollment, placement and attendance, graduation, extracurricular eligibility, and dispute resolution.

Use it alongside this month’s training modules to examine the rules relevant to a student’s situation.
