Shouting from the rooftop of the iconic covered grandstand, THANK YOU.
Thank you to the fans, the drivers, the Maine Vintage Race Car Association, Maine's Lost Speedways, Unity Race Way, The Rebuild LLC, Lincoln County Television, Yankee Trophies/Communications, the Wicked Good Vintage Racers, all of the beautiful displays, our volunteers, and every single person who had a hand in making today a possibility. It truly takes a village to put events like this together and the racing community is one of the best villages there is.
Finally, to the committee who worked tireless hours for months to make today such an incredible success, thank you! Stephanie, Pete, Norm, Charlie, Rodney, Paige, Deb, and I, we do this, because we love it. Because we love Unity Raceway. We’re passionate about its history and about celebrating a place so dear to us and so many of you. I had the pleasure of chatting with someone today and I said to her, “ya know, racing is one of those things that once you get involved in it, you’re in it forever, you’re in it for a lifetime, in some capacity or another.”
