At Orange County Books & Beyond, we believe every child deserves the joy of opening a new book and sharing that special time with someone they love. Just a few minutes a day can spark curiosity, strengthen connections, and set the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

We are so excited for Orange County! The first books have been mailed to the children who registered through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library!

If your child received their book, please share a photo of them reading it (without showing their face). We would love to highlight these special moments and help spread the word.

We are so excited to offer the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Orange County! We have 200 children registered in just 6 days!

Reading with young children matters. A new research shows that books from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library significantly strengthen children’s early literacy skills and family reading habits.

📕 After receiving just 10 books, children in the program are at least 4 times more likely to demonstrate stronger early literacy skills, like vocabulary, compared to children not in the program.

📕Children who receive books from the Imagination Library are 15 times more likely to respond to and join in reading compared with children who are not enrolled in the program.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is loved by millions, and research backed.

177 children are now signed up to receive a free book every month until they turn 5 through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library!

Orange County Books and Beyond, through the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, has officially signed up our first child to receive a FREE book every single month, mailed directly to her home with her name on the package!

If you have a child ages 0–5, you can sign them up to receive a free, age-appropriate book every month, no cost to your family!

Burger King in the Town of Orange from 5-8!
