Ms. Arkansas Senior America 2022, Dr. Margaret Pace braved the heat to support the Arkansas Senior Olympics This morning!

I had a great time this morning supporting the Arkansas Senior Olympics held in NLR. Two groups combined efforts and there were 650+ walkers/Runners of all ages.

I had the opportunity to speak with so many people to tell them about Ms Arkansas Senior America Pageant.

There were some running their first 5K and others who were seasoned Runners. There were several participants who came from other states.

Wonderful visit with the EAST program at The Academies at JHS today. I was able to share about the Delta Center For Economic Development Thrown to the Wolves program. Then I was able to ask for their help. 😊These students will be helping me in so many ways! First, Ms. Bonds will be helping me with my social media. Secondly, the students will be creating and making my pins to take to the National pageant next month. Each participant brings a pin to trade that represents their state. I am so excited to be able to take a pin made with love and care by our JHS EAST class students to Atlantic City!! These students are so smart and talented. This class is service based so if you are someone that needs help with a project, reach out to an EAST program in your area.
Can’t wait to show you the pins when they are finished. 😀

Lots of these Blood Drives going on this month. It was so nice to visit with the volunteers and to learn more about their role at the American Red Cross. This blood drive was yesterday at the public library.

Virginia was a wonderful represeative for the Ms. Arkansas Senior America Pageant, and was always ready to pitch in and help at anytime.
