The Union Rotary Club .1K is back. October 1st we will meet at Elmers
at 5:30. Around 5:45 we’ll “run, walk, or make our way somehow” to Hansen Park.

There will will join ReDiscover Union Music on Main for a great evening of live music at Hansen Park.

Registration is open and only costs $25.

All proceeds support the Union Rotary Club scholarship fund.

Simply message us directly or fill out the attached form and give it to your favorite Rotary member to register. It’s really that simple.

We were glad to welcome two of our Assistant District Governors, our very own LJ Smith and Rebecca Guzy! We appreciate their leadership, encouragement, and the way they help Rotary clubs across our district stay connected and focused on serving their communities. Thanks for spending some time with the Union Rotary Club!

We welcomed Sharon Monzyk from our friends at the Washington Rotary Club! She shared details about the 22nd Annual Rotary Trail Day for seniors and people with disabilities in Franklin County.

Join them Thursday, September 10, from 9 AM–2 PM at the Washington Fairgrounds and Rotary Riverfront Trail. Enjoy golf cart trail tours, bingo, lunch, snacks, ice cream, and plenty of fun. Valet parking is available, and no reservations are required!

Free transportation within Washington city limits is available by calling Sharon at 314-708-5210 or Barb at 314-780-5777.

We met some ladies who embody COMPASSION at Union Rotary!

We loved welcoming Karen Loucks and Shirley Thomas with the Franklin County chapter of Project Linus.

Project Linus provides handmade blankets to kids from birth to 18 who are seriously ill, experiencing trauma, or simply need some extra comfort and security.

We LOVE what these ladies and their volunteers are doing for kids in our community. A handmade blanket may seem simple, but to a child who needs comfort, it can mean so much.

🎶 SHOUT OUT to Joel Doepker (fellow Rotarian!!!) from East Central College!

Joel joined Union Rotary this week and gave us the scoop on this Friday’s Music Festival at ECC, kicking off another great year for the music program!

Come out and support our local college, enjoy a great night of live music, and help raise funds for the Metallica Scholars program. Food and drink vendors will be available too!

Great music. Great cause. Great way to support our community!
