Project Linus of Franklin & Crawford County Project Linus Franklin & Crawford County makes & collects new handmade blankets. We meet monthly to make blankets. No experience necessary.

The blankets are given to children, birth to 18 yrs old who are seriously ill, traumatized, kids in need.

DeAnn's Dazzling Designs LLC and I had our class at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center today. We had 3 men sewing rag quilts, 3 men crocheting and one was cutting fabric. 2 rag quilts are almost done. 1 crocheted edge on fleece was donated to Project Linus of Franklin & Crawford County💙and I finally finished my granny square blanket I started at DeAnn's Fiber Friday get togethers😊.
We appreciate all the donations of fabric and yarn to continue to grow this program.

👀Wow, It's been a crazy busy week since coming back from the Project Linus retreat. It was great meeting other chapter coordinators and volunteers.
Bus ride to Missouri Star Quilt.
And having Kourtney Govro from the The Quilted Cow Raymore speak to our group. Some beautiful quilts were done during the retreat.It was all very cool!
Then DeAnn's Dazzling Designs LLC D & I did our class at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center . We received several crocheted blankets and some scarves. Some of the men are working on rag quilts, some are crocheting around fleece and some are learning how to make granny squares. We are so excited seeing this program grow.
👕We had t-shirts made for the two runners up of our coloring contest and the blanket for our winner💙 We plan to do it again next year
We received blankets from 's Produce - Union, MO , Miranda Kampschroeder and her group of students from UHS FCCLA, some blankets made by students from Hope Ranch. Melissa Erisman Frick , Susan Hoemann , K. Turner, B Brewington, Carol Hoff Todisman Ebenezer Church & our amazing volunteers from Saturday's blanket making day. Project Linus of Franklin & Crawford County collected 80 blankets this past week. WOW!!
Lastly, we are happy to announce that we are increasing our service area. We will be starting a new Facebook group called Project Linus of East Central Missouri.
