If anyone missed the Back to School Agency Fair on Tuesday August 11,2026. stop by our FSC offices on Monday August 16,2026 during office hours and pick up a backpack with school supplies. Will be asked to provide documentation that your family lives in Monroe County.

Our ED is in attendance at the Annual Mountaineer Food Bank Hunger Summit. Always great information and resource’s on how our food pantry can better serve families in Monroe County. As well as building partnerships with other food pantries across Monroe County and the West Virginia.

Our Family Support Center is excited to celebrate our community and the joy of reading with a special giveaway from a local author during our Back to School Agency Fair this Tuesday August 11,2026.❤️

🎁 The first 100 children will receive a FREE copy of the book signed by Monroe County author Jennifer Copland.

Whether they’re already little bookworms or just discovering the magic of reading, we’d love to put a new story in their hands and help inspire a lifelong love of books. 🌟

📖 First come, first served — only 100 signed by local Author Jennifer Copland during this event.

Bring the kids, spread the word, and come celebrate our local literary community! 🥰

▪️There will be a short educational presentation from 6:00-6:30 and if you attend then your child will be entered for the chance to win a Mega Pass to the WV State Fair!
