The Missouri Live Steamers are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit group focused on steam railroad history education, railroad operations and construction of rideable large scale model railroads.

Tomorrow is the last run day our 2025 season. We can't wait to give rides to everyone who comes out and joins us Saturday 11-Oct. We'll be posting our next year 2026 run schedule later this fall.

Yesterday was our August run day and it was a summer scorcher! Three hot steam engines and two diesel trains out on the tracks on a hot day. Thank Yous to everyone who came out and took a ride, and to who had Grant Station Park looking good and the who had water and popsicles next to the station. We'll see you September 13th at our next run day!

A huge thanks to the students and staff from Central Elementary, Union R-XI School District for making a stop at our station today! We loved sharing our love of trains with such an enthusiastic crew.
And a special tip of the engineers hat to Paige Hulsey with News 4 Great Day for riding along and helping us share the fun with the community!
We’re so grateful for Union Parks & Recreation Department for welcoming us to a supportive community that helps keep the joy of trains chugging along. 🚂💛
