📍FORT BRAGG MENDOCINO COUNTY COMMUNITY AWARENESS REPORT📍

Jason Andrew Pitt is currently registered on Megan’s Law as a “TRANSIENT” of Fort Bragg.

Per NSOPW.org his original 2003 Nevada registration shows a lifetime requirement, and a “moved out of state” designation.

Thank you Nevada for keeping these “out of state” offenders active on your list.

The current CA ML registration shows the following offense:

LEWD AND LASCIVIOUS ACTS WITH A CHILD UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE

Year of Conviction - 2003
Year of Release - 2008
He was 30yrs old at the time

With his current “transient” registration he is not required to provide an address to the Sheriff’s Department, instead “check in” every 30 days.

Publicly sourced information shows Pitt is indeed using a “regular address” and has been for some time.

Additionally Mendocino county records show the following guilty pleas over the years:

2003 Elder Abuse
2011 Parol Violations
2015 DUI
2022 DUI, and admitted to leaving the scene of an accident.

Most recently he was arrested for failure to register in 2023. Either the court records are not updated or he has an open active warrant issued 2/23/24 that was never executed.

Communicating safety issues based on public records in our community is our right. Speaking on these things can be difficult but if you see something, say something, our voice matters.

📍Ukiah CA - Idaho State Safety Notice📍

Timothy David Darnell is a “Transient” registered Child S*x Offender in both Mendocino County & Idaho Sate for the following:

LEWD OR LASCIVIOUS ACTS WITH A CHILD UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE

Darnell was booked in Marysville, Ca 2012, for this, and per local reports at the time, the child was under 10.

There’s no public record of a CA prison sentence for his initial crime, the timeline puts him in Idaho in 2023, triggering his registration there.

He was arrested March 2026 in Idaho by the CA DOC for Parole violations related to his Yuba City arrest. He was subsequently released from IDOC April 2026.

According to all relevant information he should be in Idaho, however his registry there now is showing Non-Compliant. Did he not visit them to check in when he was released from custody?

Absolutely vile to think this “person” walked free after what he did to an innocent child. This child did not receive justice, and we will not tolerate these freaks going pseudo undercover in our tiny community.

Darnell is known to frequent the Downtown Ukiah area when he is CA. He could very well be back here now, as he needs to check into our Sheriffs office every 30 days.

David Monthei has recently been registered on Megan’s Law here in Ukiah as “Transient”.

He has ties to Lake County CA where he originally offended.

He has no current or known addresses in the area.

Meet Michael Thomas Lamun, he’s pretty amused here on picture day at the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office. The joke is on us unfortunately.

He’s on the Mendocino County Megan’s Law registry, address listed as “Ukiah” and the zip code and nothing else.

This “person” is just one of many registered Mendocino County offenders with this vague “Ukiah” designation. This is also in addition to the “transient” designation which requires them to check in every 30 days. What if any check in requirements are there for this vague designation?

This cannot be the norm, it’s totally unacceptable & unfair to the public, what liberties are given to the “Ukiah” Registrants that shouldn’t be allowed under their designation? Are they near schools or parks? We would never know I guess.

The point of the Megan’s law registry is to have an address listed, making the community aware of their presence and limiting their proximity to children if necessary under their conviction.
