Today we want to send the BIGGEST shout‑out to Kathleen Ruggery Bates and her husband Grant, the incredible pet parents who opened their hearts and home to our sweet senior foster cat, Precious.
Precious’ story touched us all after her elderly owner passed away, she spent 6 long months alone in her home, mourning and waiting for someone to care. Declawed and vulnerable, she deserved nothing but love and comfort in her golden years. 💔🐾
Thanks to these kind souls, Precious now has exactly that. She’s joining a Mending Hearts alumni (also declawed) and stepping into a new chapter filled with warmth, safety, love, and companionship.
To these amazing adopters: thank you for seeing her worth, for loving a senior soul, and for giving her the happy ending she deserves. 💛
