In Dnipro, the PHA team has continued serving displaced families and those in need, despite constant attacks and many sleepless nights.

Even, after a night in which attacks continued for 16 hours, the team was still there, ready to welcome and support those who came for help.

Moments like these remind us that showing up matters. In the face of fear and uncertainty, care, consistency, and community become even more important.

Thank you, PHA Family, for making this work possible.

UPDATE:
We wanted to update you all since this post last night.

We’ve heard from all cities PHA serves in and all our folks are ok after a very scary night.

Thank you all for your prayers. We are thankful for God’s protection over our ministry partners and deeply saddened by the loss so many others experienced.

Please continue to pray for an end to this war.

Please pray for Zaporizhzhia.

One of our ministry partners just sent this message:

“We pray, something terrible is happening around us! Lord, save us, save everyone, in the Name of Jesus Christ.”

As attacks continue, we ask you to join us in praying for God’s protection, peace, and strength for the people of Zaporizhzhia and all of Ukraine.

Recently in Domik Zaporizhzhia, women gathered for meaningful time of encouragement, creativity, and growth.

Together they explored practical ways to care for themselves and others, including writing letters of encouragement to themselves and reflecting on Scripture. Through singing, conversation, crafts, and Bible study, friendships continued to grow as women shared their experiences and supported one another.

One woman displaced from Bakhmut even created her first handmade toy with help from a friend who shared her skills and encouragement.

These simple moments of learning, connection, and faith continue to make a lasting impact.

Thank you, PHA Family, for making gatherings like these possible.

Christ is risen!

This Sunday was filled with worship, prayer, gratitude, and celebration. Together, believers gathered to praise God, encourage one another, and be reminded of His love and faithfulness.

One lesson focused on Jesus crossing the sea for a single person in need, a powerful reminder that every soul matters deeply to God.

Thank you, PHA Family, for standing alongside these communities in faith and prayer.

What a reason to celebrate!

Today in Dnipro, two people were baptized and began a new chapter of life in Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

Join us in celebrating this beautiful step of faith and praising God for His continued work in Ukraine.

It has been a full and joyful season of gatherings in Domik Kamianske.

Women came together for prayer, encouragement, Bible study, and meaningful conversations. One recent prayer breakfast welcomed 25 women, including several first-time guests who were invited by friends.

At the same time, children filled Domik with energy as they learned Bible verses, played games, danced, and enjoyed time together.

From prayer and friendship to laughter and learning, Domik continues to be a place where people find connection, support, and belonging.

Thank you, PHA Family, for making it possible.

In Domik Zaporizhzhia, 40 families received food and humanitarian support. It was especially encouraging to see so many children come along with their parents, giving the team a chance to spend time talking, laughing, and sharing simple moments together.

Even leftover balloons from a recent celebration helped brighten the day for the kids.

Thank you, PHA Family, for helping make moments of care and connection possible.

It was a full couple of days in Domik Kamianske, marked by kindness, connection, and gratitude.

Recently, 45 food packages were distributed to families in need. Along with receiving practical support, several people also signed up to attend church gatherings and meet with a psychologist.

Simple acts of care continue opening doors for deeper community and support.

Thank you, PHA Family, for continuing to stand with the people of Ukraine.

In Dnipro, children gathered for a lesson focused on love, care, and God’s compassion for each of us.

Through games, Bible stories, crafts, and activities, the children were reminded that Jesus knows each of them by name and is always near. The day was filled with laughter, encouragement, creativity, and meaningful conversations together.

Moments like these help children feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Thank you, PHA Family, for making gatherings like this possible.

A recent day in Domik Kamianske looked a little different than usual.

Using wooden pallets that had been collected from food shipments over time, the children split into groups for hands on projects. The boys worked together building chairs, while the younger children and girls enjoyed crafts and creative activities.

It was a fun day filled with teamwork, creativity, and learning new skills together.

Thank you, PHA Family, for helping create spaces where children can grow, create, and simply enjoy being kids.
