Another children’s meeting at Domik Kamianske brought time for learning, connection, and simply being together.

These gatherings give children a place to build friendships, grow in faith, and know there are adults who care about them and are ready to listen.

Our hope is for Domik to continue being a safe and welcoming place where children can grow, feel supported, and experience the love of Christ.

This summer, children from foster families and other difficult situations came together for a special week at PHA Summer Bible Camp. Because of your support, they had a place to laugh, play, grow in faith, make new friends, and simply be kids. Today at Domik Zaporizhzhia, our brothers and sisters gathered for worship, prayer, fellowship, and time in God’s Word.

Each Sunday is another opportunity to come together, encourage one another, and grow in faith as one church family.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the churches we partner with in Ukraine and the communities they serve.

A change of scenery brought a special day of learning, reflection, and worship for Svetlana’s Trauma Care group in Zaporizhzhia.

The group visited Khortytsia Island, where they explored the history of the island and the Dnipro River, talked about the wars this land has witnessed, and spent meaningful time together outdoors.

They also paused to sing psalms together, surrounded by the beauty and history of a place that has endured so much.

In Domik Kamianske, simple gatherings lead to meaningful conversations.

A movie sparked an open discussion about life, relationships, and faith. On another day, the women gathered to study God’s Word, share their experiences, and encourage one another.

We are grateful to see trust and community continue to grow.

War has taken so much from the children of Ukraine, but our partners in Dnipro are working to make sure it does not take away every part of childhood.

Throughout the summer, children from the Bible gatherings enjoyed outings, games, new experiences, and time simply having fun together. To close out their summer break, the group spent a special day at a children’s amusement park filled with laughter, treats, and plenty of smiles.

These moments give children a chance to simply be kids and create happy memories in the middle of a very difficult season.

Day 5 of Summer Bible Camp. 💙💛

The last day of camp is always bittersweet. After a week of laughter, games, worship, new friendships, and memories together, it was time for hugs, goodbyes, and the trip home.

We’re also thankful to share that all of the kids and families have made it safely back home.

Camp may be over, but we pray the friendships, lessons, and love these kids experienced will stay with them for a long time.
