Last night during our October Chapter Huddle the brothers of Nu Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated paused to recognition oBreast Cancer Awareness.

We recognized a D9 member who is a recent breast cancer survivor. Acknowledging & Recognizing her for the STRENGTH & COURAGE that she is possessing through this journey. H.S. Allen a member of the TYLER ALUMNAE CHAPTER of DELTA SIGMA THETA INC. was presented with pink roses and a sash. Our Chaplin Bro. Kedrick Graves offered a spiritual and uplifting prayer of LOVE & HOPE to Ms. Allen.

We salute her RESILIENCE, HOPE & TRANSFORMATION.

🏈 Chapter Retreat 2026-2027 🏈

On Sunday brothers of Nu Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated took part in our 2026 retreat where we are we are moving From Words To Alpha Action “No benchwarmers, every ALPHA has a role".

This year we are “All In, All Season, All Alpha”.
We’re GEARD up for all QUARTERS of this Fraternal year and ready to TACKLE every obstacle.

We are prepared to
Suit Up — Put on the letters.
Show Up — Be present and engaged and
Serve — Turn commitment into action.

With this being year 5 of establishment we understand you don’t join the team just to wear the jersey. You suit up, learn your assignment, execute the play, and help the team win.

Throughout this fraternal season, we will play
different Positions but we are on One Team with One Alpha Phi Alpha Mission.”

From the pep rally, to the huddles we know there are every Alpha has a position. Every position has an assignment. Every assignment requires action.

Brothers of Nu Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated started their Project Alpha campaign off today with ORR Elementary.

We had the opportunity to ENCOURAGE, UPLIFT and WELCOME the students back to school. Also present was members from the First Baptist Church of Tyler.
