❄️🚗 Winter is Coming—Be Ready for the First Major Snowfall! 🚗❄️

While the first major snowfall of the season hasn’t arrived yet, it's never too early to start preparing for winter driving conditions. When snow and ice hit, roads can become slippery and dangerous. We want everyone to stay safe, so here are some tips to keep in mind when that first big snow arrives:

🔹 Prepare Your Vehicle – Make sure your tires are properly inflated and have good tread for winter driving. Check your windshield wipers and keep your gas tank at least half-full to avoid running out in case of delays.

🔹 Slow Down – Snow and ice create slippery conditions, so reduce your speed. It's important to give yourself plenty of time to react to unexpected situations.

🔹 Increase Following Distance – Leave more space between you and other vehicles. Stopping on slick roads takes longer, so a greater distance gives you more time to stop safely.

🔹 Clear Your Car Completely – Before hitting the road, make sure to remove all snow and ice from your windows, lights, mirrors, and roof. This ensures better visibility and prevents snow from blowing off and obstructing other drivers.

🔹 Stay Alert for Changing Conditions – Snow can fall quickly, and roads can become hazardous fast. Be cautious, especially on bridges, overpasses, and shaded areas that freeze first.

❄️ Don’t wait until the snow falls! Start preparing today for safe winter driving.

Let’s make sure we're all ready to drive safely when the snow starts to fall. Stay tuned for more tips and updates as the winter season approaches.
