A piece of trash hates to see this crew coming! Today, 14 Ag Club members spent two hours and a used a whole roll of trash bags to clean trash and debris from the sidewalks, borrow pits, and field edges near campus. Cleaning up garbage has many benefits including limiting mosquito habitat, protecting the health of wildlife, preventing leachates in our watershed, and reducing the crime rate through limiting the “broken window effect”. Even small efforts can make a big impact! 🌍

At the Idaho FFA State Convention this week, the Ag Club operated a mobile concession stand we dubbed “The Agri-Snacks Cart” to provide snacks and drinks to FFA members across campus! We had fun and made a good profit for our club!

Who is up for flying to northern Idaho for a few days? Ten of our Ag Club members are!

We are in Coeur d’Alene this week at the Idaho Farm Bureau Fusion Conference to learn, network, and support our CSI Discussion Meet competitors- Abby Foruria, Jacee Fuller, and Josiah Bolyard.

Both Abby and Jacee advanced to the final round along with CSI alumni Will Brackett who was there representing the University of Idaho.
