The Sliced Initiative is proud to continue its partnership with Tuscaloosa's One Place, A Family Resource Center for another year of service and impact.

We’re excited to carry forward Kuts and Konversations, the mentorship-based program launched in August 2025 that uses grooming, guidance, and meaningful dialogue to build confidence and character in young people across Tuscaloosa.

Led by local mentor and master barber S Jay Ryans of Keep Em Sliced, this initiative creates safe spaces where youth are heard, encouraged, and equipped for leadership and personal growth.

This work is about more than haircuts — it’s about purpose, accountability, and community transformation.

We thank Tuscaloosa’s One Place for trusting our mission as we continue shaping leaders in community education and development.
