“Being the child of an immigrant, everything I did just meant a lot to me personally.”
For our inaugural Testimony Tuesday, we sat down with Anna Hill (Anna Hill ), a former SCEAIR intern & volunteer who used her talents to support immigrant communities in both Tuscaloosa, AL, and Columbus, GA.
As an intern/volunteer, Anna worked in several different capacities, from interviewing and onboarding to outreach and digital marketing. The work she did with SCEAIR still impacts the organization today.
In addition to having a personal connection to the work, Anna also gained skills that she uses in her current job, such as data processing through Microsoft SharePoint and Google Ads.
When remembering the working environment at SCEAIR, she recounts, “I always felt listened to, and I was always asked if I had opinions on things.”
Anna looks back on her time with SCEAIR with fondness, continuing to support the organization as she moves into the next phase in her career.

Para nuestro primer Martes de Testimonio (Testimony Tuesday), nos sentamos a conversar con Anna Hill (Anna Hill ), una expasante y voluntaria de SCEAIR que usó sus talentos para apoyar a las comunidades inmigrantes tanto en Tuscaloosa, Alabama, como en Columbus, Georgia.
Como pasante y voluntaria, Anna trabajó en diversas áreas, desde entrevistas e integración de personal hasta difusión y marketing digital. El trabajo que realizó con SCEAIR sigue impactando a la organización hoy en día.
Además de tener una conexión personal con esta labor, Anna adquirió habilidades que aplica en su empleo actual, tales como el procesamiento de datos con Microsoft SharePoint y Google Ads.
Al recordar el ambiente de trabajo en SCEAIR, comenta: “Siempre me sentí escuchada y siempre me preguntaban si tenía alguna opinión sobre las cosas”.
