“Remember Who You Are”
A well-oiled machine is beginning to hit its stride at exactly the right time.
Over their last two outings, the Alabama Commandos have put the league on notice, piling up an impressive 72 points while pitching back-to-back shutouts. For much of the season, the offense appeared to be searching for its identity. Now, it seems they haven’t found who they are—they’ve remembered who they are.
After a season filled with challenges, adjustments, and moments of uncertainty, everything came down to one simple message on Saturday night:
Remember who you are.
Historically, playoff football has been the time when the Commandos elevate their game, and they did exactly that against the Jaguars. From the opening whistle, Alabama dominated on both sides of the ball.
The offense led by Tyjavion Edward was operated with confidence and precision, moving the football efficiently and capitalizing on opportunities. Meanwhile, the defense once again reminded everyone why it is considered one of the league’s most feared units.
Quon Shingleton, Rashard Smiley, and Bruce Jones each came away with momentum-shifting interceptions, while Marquavious “Rook” Favors delivered one of the game’s biggest highlights with a blazing-fast scoop-and-score that sent the Commandos faithful into a frenzy.
The Jaguars never had an opportunity to establish any rhythm in Tuscaloosa. Alabama’s relentless defensive pressure and disciplined play ensured the visitors would leave town without a single point on the scoreboard, bringing their season to a decisive end.
Now, the road ahead becomes even more demanding. The competition gets tougher, the stakes get higher, and every snap carries greater significance.
But inside the Commandos locker room, the message remains unchanged:
“Remember who you are.”
If the last two weeks are any indication, the Alabama Commandos are becoming the team nobody wants to face when it matters most.
