Well, that’s where we come in! Erik has donated his two hunting slots from 9/6-9/13 with Bullets and Broadheads Guide Service to two Purple Heart Veterans! The application process is open for 48-hours from NOW.

We were honored to be the recipient of the funds raised at the CPL. ANDREW L. HUTCHINS MEMORIAL RIDE earlier this month.

We are grateful that Corporal Hutchins’ family and the ride’s organizers thought of our Mission as a way to honor his sacrifice.

🖤 What an incredible weekend for the Operation ReBoot Outdoors Youth Bear Hunt! 🐻

Two out of three of our young hunters were fortunate enough to harvest a bear, but the real success was everything they experienced along the way.

From learning to fly fish and preparing for bear season, to trudging through the woods and having countless wildlife encounters with deer, moose, turkeys, and more!

A huge thank you to our volunteer guides for donating their time - in the planning and ex*****on of this bear season!!!

These young hunters are the next generation, and it was an absolute honor to spend time in the woods alongside them. Watching their excitement, willingness to learn, and love for the outdoors was what this weekend was all about.

The future of the outdoors is in good hands.

8.30 Update: We landed at nearly 800 applications. After thoughtfully considering each candidate, our selected Veteran has been notified and confirmed. I will spend the next week or so responding to everyone else’s application. Rest assured, your application was reviewed.

We ask everyone for a little patience as we work through them. We will notify the selected recipient first, and then we will follow up with everyone else simply to let you know that your application was received and a Veteran was selected.

Most importantly, please be kind to our VOLUNTEERS who are putting their time into reviewing these applications. Please do not get angry, post nasty comments and send angry messages, or call demanding answers why and who. We don’t have to do this, but we do it because we want to help make a difference and we love you all.

Every application will be reviewed. We do our best to select the right candidate, and sometimes the final decision is ultimately in the donor’s hands not just ours.

We appreciate every single person who took the time to apply.

Hunt of a Lifetime — 50%+ Disabled Veteran Bull Moose Hunt

🫎 HUNT OF A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY 🫎

We have an incredible opportunity for a 50%+ VA-rated disabled Veteran to join us for a Bull Moose hunt in Zone 4 of the North Maine Woods, September 28–October 3.

We don’t have much time to make this happen, so submissions will remain open until Tuesday, August 25 at midnight.

Before you apply, please understand:

• This will be a remote camp hunt in the North Maine Woods.
• Cots and sleeping pads will be provided.
• Home-style meals will be provided throughout the hunt.
• Arrival is no later than Sunday, September 27 by 2:00 PM.
• Departure will be October 4 or later, depending on the circumstances of the hunt.
• The Veteran is responsible for license, taxidermy, butchering, and transportation of the moose home to the freezer.
• Veteran must have a 50% VA disability rating or higher.

This isn’t just about harvesting a moose. It’s about getting a Veteran into the North Maine Woods, away from the noise, spending time around good people. We are very grateful to the donor who is offering this up to a Reboot Veteran.
