We’ve been asked by a longtime Reboot supporter to share this. His neighbor, an Army veteran whom he speaks very highly of, recently lost his home in a fire in Poland Maine. Unfortunately, it was a total loss.

If you are able to donate or simply share this fundraiser, it would be greatly appreciated. Every share helps spread the word, and every donation can make a difference as he works to rebuild after this devastating loss.

Thank you all for your support and for helping us take care of those who have served. 🇺🇸❤️

Maine Moose Lottery is upon us!

We’d like to remind everyone that we offer FREE guided moose hunts for Veterans and first responders. Getting a tag is just the first hurdle.

If you are planning to donate a tag through the Tag Transfer Program to a disabled Veteran, please consider reaching out to us directly. There are organizations that will help place the tag with a Veteran, but the tag is often the easiest part of the process. We provide support from start to finish, including helping you select a deserving Veteran based on your criteria and guiding them through the entire hunt experience. We also keep the donor update and involved on the hunt as much as possible even had a couple come along on the hunt.

We have been fortunate enough to receive one or more of these donated tags every year since the program began. With the Adapted Cow Moose Permit Program now ending, there will likely be significantly fewer opportunities available for disabled Veterans.

Good luck to everyone in today’s lottery, and thank you to those who continue to support our Veterans and first responders! 🫎🇺🇸

🚧 OPERATION REBOOT PROJECT UPDATE 🚧

Our building project is moving forward, but we’re at a critical stage and need some help.

Many of our regular volunteers will be busy this weekend helping with the Maine Moose Lottery, and after nearly two straight months of nonstop work on this project, we’re running a little thin on manpower. We’re hoping some members of our community can step up and lend a hand.

* Need volunteers to assist the crew

📅 June 24 – CONCRETE SLAB POUR

* Additional help may be needed with curing efforts, including sprinklers, burlap, and water supply if temperatures are high

We will feed you breakfast, lunch and water on site we also have 16 beds open to stay in the property.

This building will directly support the mission of Operation Reboot Outdoors and the veterans we serve. We’ve made tremendous progress thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, but we need one more push to get through this phase of construction.

If you can spare a few hours, a day, or even just help spread the word, we’d greatly appreciate it. Please comment below or send us a message if you’re available.

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed their time, equipment, materials, and support. We couldn’t do this without you.

🇺🇸 Together, we’re building something that will change lives.

“Reboot Stone soup”

It’s been a grind, but we’re almost at the finish line with the most important part of anything that’s ever been built—the foundation.

One thing I’ve learned along the way is that when a foundation is strong, it’s hard to destroy, even from the inside out or the outside in.

We’ve managed to get by with just enough volunteers every single time we’ve needed them to keep this project on schedule. It’s been this way since the beginning of Reboot as well. Adrian and I, alongside the Waughs, with Jon Richard guidance , and many others, have put in countless hours to get us to this point.

Volunteers come and go, and somehow the universe always seems to send just enough of the right people at exactly the right time. There have been a handful of constants throughout the Dream bigger’s foundation project: the Waughs, Adam Farrington, Jess and John Rogers, my two boys, last but not least my dad, Big Dan and many others who stepped in exactly where they were needed.

The timing has often been remarkable. This past weekend, we needed equipment operators. One of my best friends since we were five years old, Nate Austin, showed up with his tri-axle. Nick Shaw, a newer volunteer, arrived and confidently said, “I can run them all.” Well, he and Nate absolutely crushed it. With Bruce’s guidance, alongside Adrian and me, we moved and compacted 300–400 yards of dirt in less than 48 hours.

Over and over again, volunteers have uniquely fit where and when we’ve needed them most, working alongside our constants to keep moving this mission forward. I take this as a sign from the universe we are on the right path and have not veered.

We can’t thank all of you enough—for every hour you’ve given, every load you’ve hauled, every tool you’ve picked up, and every sacrifice you’ve made. Whether you’re still here or helped somewhere along the way, you have been part of building something bigger than yourselves.

Remember, when you volunteer for an organization, you’re giving your time, energy, and talents to a mission that is often larger than any one person and usually one you didn’t create yourself. That kind of commitment is selfless, admirable, and something that should never be taken for granted.

Thank you to every volunteer, past and present. This foundation belongs to all of you.

~Dan~
