Blast off! We had lots of propulsion fun at Soda Bottle Rockets this week, one of our favorite STEM sessions.

We experimented with aspects of aerodynamics, weight, balance, pressure, and more during this fun program.

Lots of height records were won, broken, recovered, broken again, won back again 😅

Exciting stuff!

We'll be joining the Summer Concert series at Riverside Park - Tunkhannock this evening for all ages skating and basketball on the courts.

We supply skateboards, rollerblades, helmets, pads, ramps, and more. Feel free to bring along a scooter or bike. We'll have plenty of basketballs as well.

Our Friday hike was filled with neat sightings and a beautiful overlook! Coach Dave also educated the group about the three 3s that could get us out of a panic: name 3 things you can see, 3 things you could hear, and move 3 body parts. This, paired with belly breathing, calms us in our present moment. 🥾🍃🏞️☀️

Our next Skate Nightz is coming up on August 5th. Skate Nightz are open skating, biking, and scooter sessions for all ages. We provide all ramps, rails, skateboards, roller blades, and safety equipment. Skate at your own pace at Skate Nightz!

We had the pleasure of representing TARA at The Guthrie Clinic for the 3rd annual Donald Guthrie Foundation Benefit Brunch this morning-- a special event highlighting some of the many impactful mental health & wellness, nutrition, obesity prevention, and social programs in our area that the Foundation is helping to support this grant cycle.

We were blown away by the diversity, vision, and accomplishments of these important organizations and programs.

We thank the Donald Guthrie Foundation and Wyoming County Community Health Foundation - WCCHF for supporting our efforts in these areas with our Get Out! Tunkhannock programs.
