We had a lovely day for our Art Club on Monday! We used air-dry clay to experiment with textures and create fun sculptures.

We had to postpone Art Club due to illness but fortunately that gives you a few more days to sign up! New day is Monday November 17th, right after school. Supply fee is $10. Please sign up on our website by Friday so our artist knows how many to plan for. Hope to see you there!

Photos from our art class on Saturday!

We warmed up with 30 second paintings and then painted as we listened and responded to the music. These paintings became the backgrounds for our drawings in the second half.

We have another art class on Oct 12th, then we're doing a special fall break art camp. Keli will be teaching all the classes, sign ups required.

We had our first Nature Study meet yesterday and it was lovely! My family has recently moved very close to a city park/wooded area so I anticipate a lot more meet ups very soon, especially as this cooler weather comes in. I also loved connecting with some of the other families from our new Waldorf school!

Tomorrow after school!
Nature study is both fun and educational. Each month we'll focus on a different learning theme; for Sept we'll be searching for butterflies & moths.
