Offical Statement from the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce

The Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce is aware of recent public statements made by a former individual associated with the organization.

Those statements contain material inaccuracies and omissions that create a misleading narrative.

To be clear, the Chamber did not threaten any individual, nor would it ever threaten anyone. Any suggestion otherwise is false. The individual referenced was not forced to leave the organization; they left of their own accord.

Legal counsel has addressed these matters directly. The Chamber will not litigate this issue in the media and will address any further misinformation through appropriate formal channels.

Over the past several months, the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce has been engaged in a comprehensive strategic planning process led by a professional and experienced expert. This work has been intentional and internal, focused on strengthening governance, restoring operational clarity, and ensuring the Chamber is positioned to best serve our community.

We will formally relaunch the Chamber in March, and the results of this work will be evident. We look forward to sharing what has been built and what will continue to roll out throughout 2026.

The Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce remains focused on its mission, organizational integrity, and delivering meaningful impact for the community we serve.

In a time when businesses and organizations across the country are navigating economic uncertainty and the challenges associated with this administration, we remain focused on standing strong for our members and our community.

Following a deep internal review, recent leadership changes were made to ensure our resources are managed responsibly and our mission remains our top priority. We are now working closely with a professional to develop a strong strategic plan that will strengthen the Chamber and position us for long-term sustainability.
