Titan has been with us since January and has had zero applications… ☹️😭 Please share!!

👑 Meet Titan 👑

Titan is a 2 year old, 85lb Anatolian Shepherd who found himself in a scary situation. He was living by the side of a busy highway in a rural town. Fortunately, a kind lady started taking care of him and asked for help with placement for this sweet boy. Safe at last. 🙌

Titan has been in foster care since January and has made so much progress. He has truly become the leader of “his pack.” There will be no shenanigans under Titan’s watch. 😆 If anyone dare step out of line, Titan is right there to remind them who’s in charge just in case they forgot. 🤣 He sits like royalty outside surveying his land for any trespassers. Lawn mower=evil and must be vanquished at all costs.

He is a confident boy but a real lover underneath it all. Titan loves to cuddle and loves hugs. He enjoys the company of his humans as much as he does his fellow playmates. How could you not love that squishy face and triple chin? 🤪 Or that big paw that loves to smack you every time you forget to adore him?

Titan’s energy level sits at about a 5-6. He enjoys his moments of “parkour” on the living room couches with his fellow troublemakers. 😆 But moments later he can be found demurely tearing up a toy or chewing on a bone. 🦴 Nap time is a must for this boy as well. If you love a dog with character then Titan is the one for you. He’s dog friendly, crate trained and potty trained. Titan would enjoy fellow housemates so he can continue to rule his kingdom with dignity and grace. Because of course a king requires subjects, right? 🤪

38 pounds.

That’s all this sweet boy weighed when he arrived at Tulsa Animal Services three days ago.

He was found in the middle of a road with two other dogs. We don’t know what his life looked like before he was found or how he ended up in this condition. We just know that at only around 3 years old, he is extremely emaciated, too weak to walk and needs our help.

Today, we pulled him from the shelter and he is officially an OPCS dog now. ❤️

We are still learning what his medical needs will be and what it’s going to take to get him healthy again. What we do know is that he deserves the chance to recover, gain some much-needed weight, and learn what it feels like to be safe and cared for.

This is where we need our village.

If you can spare $5, $10, $20 or anything at all, please consider donating toward his care. Those small donations add up quickly when enough people come together, and they are what allow us to continue saying yes to dogs like Valor.

If you aren’t able to donate right now, please share his story. You never know who might see it and decide to help.

Let’s help him put this part of his story behind him. ❤️

We’ll keep everyone updated as we learn more about his condition and his road to recovery.

🖤🩷 Meet Maura 🖤🩷

This sweet girl is 5 years old and weighs 72 pounds. Maura was found by animal control in heartbreaking condition-partially blind, emaciated at 49lbs, heartworm positive, mammary tumors, skin issues, recently had puppies and was believed to be used as a bait dog for dog fighting. People had failed this poor angel. Maura had every reason to give up, but she didn’t.

Through the incredible work at Southern Hills Veterinary Hospital and a lot of love, Maura went from surviving to thriving, and now she is ready to find her forever family!

Maura is completely vaccinated, spayed, potty trained and dog friendly! She’s good with kids, but would do better in a home with kids over 15! She loves the outdoors, sunbathing, naps, big blankets, meeting new people, pup cups and treats! Maura can be adopted as an only dog, but would do better in a home with other dogs. Dogs can teacher her about her new home, be patient with her, and show her that her new family is safe and loves her!

Maura is partially blind due to a birth defect. She didn’t get enough vitamin A in utero, so her eyes formed smaller than normal. HOWEVER, Maura does have partial vision in the left eye, and has adapted when it comes to navigating the world. She LOVES walks, smelling, and exploring when she feels safe!

Maura is a walking miracle, and it’s time for her to find her forever family!

Poor Paloma 😭💔 Returned after two days due to no fault of her own. This sweet girl has sat in rescue since February with almost no interest and desperately needs someone to give her a chance.

Paloma is an 18 month old Basset Hound/Australian Shepherd mix weighing around 35 lbs, but she’s a little low rider! 🥹

Paloma was adopted from TAS HW+ and never brought back for her treatment. She eventually ended up as a stray and right back at the shelter. 😔

Once coming into rescue, Paloma would hide in the corner and cower to the ground at every noise or movement. She struggles with anxiety, and given everything she’s been through, it’s safe to assume she may have experienced abuse in her past. At only 18 months old, she’s already been through so much.

Despite her past, Paloma is crate and house trained. She does well with dogs who mind their own business, but she would really prefer to be the only dog in her home.

She enjoys walks, cuddles, and LOVES toys! 💚

Paloma deserves a safe, patient home where she can finally learn what it feels like to be loved and protected.

Meet Apache! 🤎🐾

Apache is about 2 years old and weighs 55 pounds. His story began on the rural roads of Catoosa where this handsome cattle dog/Pit mix was spotted dodging cars and doing his best to survive on his own 💔

Thankfully Apache was rescued before something terrible happened. He’s now safe at the facility, but he’s still waiting for the part of his story that matters most…. a family of his own 🥹🏡🐶

Apache is looking for a patient, loving human who will give him the time, kindness, and consistency he needs to feel safe and learn what it means to be loved. He has already survived so much on his own. Now, he deserves someone who will help him write the rest of his story 🙏🐾🥰
