Coffee Co TN Leadership

The highly structured ten-month program presents a wide range of opinions and perspectives through lectures, panel presentations, tours and group activities.

A primary goal of these activities is to train persons for leadership and involvement in public affairs and to establish channels of communication among community leaders. The curriculum provides for the development of basic, as well as in-depth, knowledge of the local educational system, economic and community development, city and county government, law enforcement, the judicial process, human s

ervices, public infrastructure and quality of life. Team building and creative problem solving is emphasized. It is expected that persons who complete the Coffee County Leadership program will have an increased commitment to improving the community through group and individual efforts.

Coffee County Leadership applications are closing on July 31st!

Coffee County Leadership is a program that helps participants better understand how our community works and how they can make a positive impact! This program is facilitated by the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce and the Manchester Chamber of Commerce!

Throughout the program, participants take part in tours, discussions, and hands-on projects that provide a behind-the-scenes look at businesses, government, education, healthcare, and other important parts of Coffee County.

The program helps develop leadership skills, build connections with community leaders, and deepen your understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing Coffee County.

Today we celebrate the incredible graduates of the Coffee County Leadership Class of 2026!

Over the past nine months, these individuals have dedicated their time, energy, and passion to learning more about the people, organizations, challenges, and opportunities that shape our community. Through tours, discussions, and hands-on experiences, they’ve gained a deeper understanding of what it means to lead with purpose in Coffee County.

This program is more than leadership training. It’s about building connections, encouraging community involvement, and preparing current and emerging leaders to make a lasting impact.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your commitment to growth and service will continue to strengthen our community for years to come.

Thanks to Manchester City School District for hosting us at College Street Elementary! We enjoyed a performance by their steel drum band, wax museum presentations from 4th graders, and had the privilege of reading to some classes. Such a fun day!
