In-person at the Tualatin Country Club

The Tualatin Rotary Club is a group of 50 or so members who are all dedicated to Service Above Self.
-We provide scholarships to Tualatin High Schools Seniors.
-We provide a dictionary to each and every third grade student in Tualatin schools.
-We sponsor both an in-bound and outbound exchange student each year.
-We provide a training for middle school students in the Rotary "4-way test" (see bel

ow).
-We provide road clean-up for Tualatin-Sherwood road.
-We participate in the Tualatin Crawfish Festival annually.
-We raise money and coordinate special projects world wide, such as a minivan we purchased for a child care association in Roblealto, Costa Rica.
-We participate in Rotary International's effort to eradicate polio worldwide.
-We have a lot of fun together and are known for having the best luncheon. throughout our district (we meet at noon on Wednesdays at Tualatin Country Club). Let’s move some books! The Tualatin Rotary Club and Books on Wheels will participate in the Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, September 12th. It might be a great idea to have a book in an emergency to-go bag. We will donate free books for every age reader. Mark your calendar. Books are the best entertainment when there is no power!

📚 Libraries are more than just books—they’re community hubs that inspire learning, connection, and lifelong curiosity.

Join us this Wednesday, July 22, as we welcome Laura Baker and Gwen Martin from the Friends of the Tualatin Public Library. They’ll share how this incredible nonprofit supports our local library through fundraising, advocacy, volunteerism, and used book sales, helping fund programs like Summer Reading, special events, and other resources that enrich our community. Since its founding, the Friends have donated more than $200,000 to support the Tualatin Public Library and its mission. (Friends of Tualatin Library)

Leadership isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you grow.

That’s exactly what RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is all about.

Every summer, Rotary District 5100 brings together emerging leaders (ages 19–32) for a transformational week of leadership development, personal growth, team building, and lifelong friendships. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Menucha Retreat Center in Corbett, Oregon, RYLA is more than a camp—it’s an experience that helps participants discover their strengths, challenge themselves, and return home inspired to make a lasting impact.

This year’s RYLA takes place July 11–17, 2026, and applications are expected to open later this year for the 2027 program. If you know a young adult who is passionate about serving others, growing as a leader, or making a difference in their community, now is the perfect time to encourage them to start thinking about RYLA.

Many local Rotary clubs, including Tualatin Rotary, sponsor participants each year.

What does it mean to create an impact that lasts?

Join us this Wednesday as the Tualatin Rotary Club welcomes our very own club member, Renée Fontenot, the newly named District Governor for Rotary District 5100 for the 2026–27 year.

With more than 20 years of Rotary service and extensive experience in leadership, training, and community engagement, Renée has dedicated much of her life to bringing people together to serve, lead, and make a difference.

Her message for the year, “Create Lasting Impact,” is one that reaches far beyond Rotary. It’s about looking at the needs in our communities, bringing people together, and creating meaningful change that continues long after a single project or event is over.

Whether you’re a local business owner, community leader, nonprofit partner, or simply someone looking for ways to get more connected and give back, you are invited to join us for lunch, meet members of the Tualatin Rotary Club, and hear from an inspiring local leader.

Join us this Wednesday as Tualatin Rotary President Mena Dent presents a Year in Review, highlighting the projects, partnerships, and impact our club has made throughout the 2025–2026 Rotary year.

From supporting local students and families to environmental stewardship, community grants, and international service projects, it has been a year filled with People of Action making a difference.

Whether you’re curious about Rotary, looking for ways to get involved in the community, or simply want to connect with local leaders and neighbors, we invite you to join us.
