A few moments from The Silsilad Sessions: Episode One - Soul.

Special thanks to The Gaas Collective for being such an important partner in making this event possible and helping bring this beautiful evening to life.

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared their words, listened deeply, and helped create such a warm and powerful atmosphere. It was a beautiful evening of poetry, connection, and community.

We’re excited to continue building this space through quarterly Silsilad poetry sessions, with the next gathering taking place in June.

What an incredible day! πŸ™

The Family Mental Health Through the Lens of Faith and Culture Conference exceeded all expectations thanks to YOU – our amazing community who showed up ready to heal, learn, and grow together.

November 23rd was filled with:
β€’ Powerful keynote speakers who moved hearts and minds

A huge thank you to our incredible partners: Cham Refugees Community, and Omar Bin Al-Khattab Islamic Center for making this vision a reality.

This was more than an event – it was a movement toward culturally grounded mental health support for East African Muslim families. The conversations we started don't end here.

Ready to keep this momentum going? Let's continue building bridges between faith, culture, and healing in our community.
