What is BaseCamp for Veterans, Inc.? 🇺🇸🐴

BCI is an Arizona-based nonprofit offering a weeklong equine-assisted program for veterans and their families. Through horsemanship, mentorship, and community support, participants build confidence, strengthen connections, and gain practical tools to navigate life after military service.

Our program is horse-powered, community-driven, and veteran-focused, creating a place where veterans and their families can move forward with purpose.

For veterans, working with horses creates an opportunity to practice patience, communication and trust, while learning to meet each horse, and themselves, where they are.

We’re working on a second-level program at Tombstone Monument Ranch for veterans who have already completed BCI. With less introduction and more time spent doing, the week will give alumni an opportunity to keep learning, build confidence and connect with participants from other classes.

Because the work doesn’t end when the program does, it evolves.
