As we come to the close of the Winterhaven Festival of Lights, we want to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to the sponsors who helped make this beloved community tradition possible.

Tonight, December 27, marks the final night of our two-week festival, and it has truly been a season powered by generosity, partnership, and community spirit.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our Title Sponsor, Tucson Electric Power. Their overwhelming support made it possible for Winterhaven to shine once again—bringing neighbors together, welcoming thousands of visitors, and creating a safe, joyful experience for families from across our region. Simply put, this festival would not exist at this scale or with this impact without them.

We are also incredibly thankful for all of our sponsors, partners, volunteers, residents, and city collaborators who stepped up in countless ways to support this event. Winterhaven is a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with shared purpose and care.

If you believe in keeping Winterhaven free and accessible for everyone, we invite you to help support the festival with a tax-deductible donation. The Winterhaven Festival of Lights operates as an Arizona nonprofit organization, so your contribution directly supports the production, safety, and sustainability of this community event.

Don't forget to support the Community Food Bank with a donation as well. You can donate online at: https://winterhavenfestival.org/foodbank/

The lights are almost ready—thanks to some incredible community champions.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Tucson Electric Power () for once again stepping up as our Title Sponsor of the Winterhaven Festival of Lights. Their overwhelming generosity—through staff time, resources, and on-the-ground support—makes this entire celebration possible. Without TEP, Winterhaven wouldn’t shine as brightly.

Special thanks as well to our partners at Cox Communications (), whose volunteers joined us this week to help light up the neighborhood. Your commitment to keeping Winterhaven beautiful and bright is felt by every resident and every guest who walks these streets.

The countdown officially begins—Opening Night is Saturday, December 13.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Tucson’s most beloved holiday tradition.

Now in its 76th year, the Winterhaven Festival of Lights remains one of Tucson’s most cherished traditions. Since 1949, neighbors in the historic Winterhaven community have come together to transform their streets into a glowing celebration of creativity, unity, and generosity.

Each year, more than 200,000 visitors experience this free, nonprofit-led festival that shines for a cause—supporting the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
