From Summit Student to Johns Hopkins. This is why we do what we do. ❤️

A few years ago, this young woman walked into the Lapan Leadership Summit as a first-generation student from an immigrant family with big dreams and an even bigger work ethic.

Last week, she graduated from Smith College with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Latino/a Studies.

Next stop? Johns Hopkins University, where she will pursue a Master of Science in Public Health focused on Population, Family, and Reproductive Health.

This is exactly why the Lapan Leadership Summit exists.

Arizona Gives Day is here!! At LC3 every dollar stays in Tucson and goes directly to powering our free after-school programs. Through soccer, robotics, music, art, pet therapy, and mentoring we provide a space for students to belong and dream about their future.
