Rep. Chris Smith, a Shared Hope Pathbreaker Award recipient and leading anti-trafficking lawmaker, called this bill a “critical pathway for survivors to rebuild their lives.”
He’s right. Criminal records tied to trafficking keep survivors from housing, jobs, and education long after escape.

Here's the second in a 3-part series we uncreatively named- "Keeping Your Kids Safe From Online Predators."

#2- Privacy and Posting: Nothing is Secret 🔒
Teach your kids that anything posted online is permanent and can be seen or shared by anyone, regardless of privacy settings.

Lock Down Profiles: Help them set all social media and app accounts to the highest privacy setting so only people they approve as "real-life friends" can view their posts and information.

Guard Personal Information: Emphasize that they must never share personal identifying information with strangers online. This includes their full name, home address, school name, phone number, or photos that show clear landmarks near their home.

Pause Before You Post: Teach them to stop and think before sharing photos, videos, or even comments. Once it's sent or posted, they lose control of it.
