Monday was an exciting evening for the Tucson Breakfast Lions Club. We showed up to the Ronald McDonald House for Chef for a Day to cook for about 60 guests. We served a belated 4th of July dinner. Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips, ambrosia salad and brownies. We always have so much fun serving our community!Lions-MD21Lions VirtualSpreading Threads Clothing BankMD21 Lions of ArizonaConnect AZ- District 21 North LionsNey SilvaTucson Downtown Lions ClubFlorence Arizona Lions ClubPrescott Noon Lions ClubRonald McDonald HouseGreg HofacreSanford ShiffSandy Piellusch-WilsonSarah Ream WilleRichard Lewis Brodesky

The Tucson Breakfast Lions Club had the absolute BEST time yesterday helping out with the Back-to-School event at Spreading Threads. We handed out 75 of sunglasses, 550 packs of underwear and socks and 267 pairs of shoes to 320 foster children in our community. More importantly we did vision screening for those children that haven’t been screened yet in the schools. Some of the screenings resulted in referrals being given for possible eye glass needs. Thank you Spreading Threads Clothing Bank for this important and needed opportunity. MD21 Lions of Arizona Connect AZ- District 21 North Lions Lions-MD21 Lions Virtual

This is one of our own members! Let’s all support him any way we can.

As Lions, “We Serve”! We have a saying “Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion”. This is one of those cases where there is an absolute need for a living kidney donor to match with a fellow Lion in need. Please take the opportunity to read Lion Joel’s story. He is a member of If you are not personally able to be tested as a donor, you too can help. Please help spread the word via your social media platforms. Print the story, ask for permission to post it anywhere there is a public information board. Lastly, if you are reading this and have ties to the media, please reach out for a human interest story. Every like, post, share, & repost matters. Let’s come together and help Lion Joel find a living kidney donor.
