Sometimes, the animal you save is also the one saving you.
Leo will tell you that the bond he shares with Chimera is hard to explain. She follows him everywhere. She sleeps beside him every night. And during one of the hardest periods of his life, when connection and hope were difficult to find, she was there.
Then Chimera became critically ill.
Leo knew she was fading quickly, and the veterinary care she needed was more than he could afford. That’s when he found Scarritt Foundation.
