Happy National Arts in Education Week! Sometimes the best way to tell the story of arts impact is through an individual experience. Here's partner teacher Charles Koltak speaking about one student's transformation in the Lead Guitar program.

Check out this virtual ensemble featuring former Lead Guitar Teaching Artist turned rockstar Daniel Vildosola and Lead Guitar students playing “Let Her Go” by Passenger. You can also see Daniel in the official anniversary edition video of “Let Her Go” with Ed Sheeran.
Thanks to Virtual Guitar Orchestra for creating the video and our partners at Guitar Salon International who co-produce "We Are Guitar" with us. Enjoy!

This rare instrument by master luthier Brian Dunn built in 2007 ( #40) is made from Indian Rosewood and European Spruce aged since the 1970s. All proceeds from its sale will support free, year-round guitar classes for kids who attend severely under-resourced U.S. schools.
It originally sold for $7,957. We’re asking $3,500. It’s in excellent condition. See the attached letter for the luthier's detailed description of this world-class instrument. Buyers outside of Arizona would need to pay shipping. DM Lead Guitar if you’re interested.

We’ve almost reached our goal, and you can help us get there! Lead Guitar needs to raise just $6,991 to meet our goal of $65,000. We're looking forward to golfing 100 holes for music education with a great group of volunteers. Donations are accepted through March 25th, so there's still time to make a difference!

On March 25th , our volunteer golfers are putting their skills and endurance to the test. They’ll be playing 100 holes to support Lead Guitar, a music education nonprofit that establishes free and sustainable guitar classes in public schools with the lowest access to the arts. Their task won’t b...
