Honoring Those Who Came Before Us 🚒

Local 3504 proudly celebrates the launch of our first official retiree chapter!

This chapter is dedicated to recognizing the firefighters who came before us—the men and women who spent years serving their communities, answering the call, and laying the foundation for the firefighters who serve today.

Your dedication, sacrifice, brotherhood, and commitment to the fire service will never be forgotten. Retirement may mark the end of your time on the job, but it will never erase the impact you made or the legacy you leave behind.

Thank you to all of our retired firefighters for your service. We are proud to call you members of the Local 3504 family.

🔥 Once a firefighter, always a firefighter. 🚒

🚒 Back-to-Back House Fires Keep United Pima Firefighters Busy

United Pima firefighters worked hard on Sunday, August 9th, responding to two working house fires within just a few hours of each other.

Crews were in the process of rehab and recovering from the first incident when the second fire was dispatched. Without hesitation, firefighters regrouped, geared up, and responded to the next emergency.

We’re proud of the dedication, professionalism, and commitment our firefighters demonstrated throughout both incidents. These calls are a reminder of the demands placed on our crews and the importance of teamwork, training, rehabilitation, and taking care of one another.

🤝 Agencies on scene included:

* Drexel Heights Fire District
* Pascua Pueblo Fire Department
* Santa Rita Fire District
* Tohono O’odham Fire Department
* Rincon Valley Fire District Investigator
* Pima County Sheriff’s Department

We appreciate the hard work and cooperation of all the agencies that responded and worked together to protect our communities.

👏 Thank you to all of the firefighters, investigators, and law enforcement personnel who answered the call and continued to serve despite a demanding day.

This week, United Pima Firefighters attended this year’s Honor Guard Camp. Over two days of hands-on training, our members strengthened the skills, discipline, and traditions that honor those who have served before us.

On the third day, we had the privilege of paying tribute to the Granite Mountain Hotshots, remembering their courage, sacrifice, and lasting legacy. It was a powerful reminder of the commitment and brotherhood that unite the fire service.

We are proud to continue honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to carry these traditions forward. 🇺🇸🚒
