Today we had one of our wonderful vets out to see the new intakes . Thank you Lion & Lamb Mobile Veterinary Service !!! These ladies are absolutely amazing 👏
Athena is NOT pregnant ... Thank goodness ! We will be supplying her feed in a hay net instead of the feeding bars and deworm her again this gal is going to have to start some work . We will monitor and go from their if we need to draw blood or not .
Toby oh sweet Toby this boy was in absolute rough shape 😳 He has sore front feet from lack of hoof care so we will medicate and wrap and get him in front shoes . Thankfully their is no rotation at this time . His eye is an old wound that does not hurt him so he will keep his eye but little to no vision is in it. His squamis cell on his a**s can be treated but we will wait until fall for cooler weather and less flys . So we will start raising for him and Tracy for their procedures in the fall.

Bubbles is doing good she was just vaccines .
Chyenne
Is good she just needed vaccines ahe has alot of weight to still gain . She was in very rough shape along with toby .
Tracy
This little fiesty mule had to get drop down sedation as she likes to kick out . Tracy came with lumps all around her body a habro on her chin and fully shod . When our farrier came to take care of her she was fine with the fronts but absolutely not having it with her back feet so for everyone's saftey her back shoes had to stay on . We got those pulled off and her lumps looked at she will have a procedure in the fall as well taking one off for biopsy. They are masses but we need to know what kind to make sure she is comfortable and taken care of properly. We will be fundraising for Tracys future procedure .

Please please remember your donation truly matters here we have been in the rescue world since Jan 2024 we are still growing and trying to bulid bridges , learn, gain followers and donors and volunteers and just spread the awarness that we are here . We are not mass killpen bailers but we truly try to help them too and while bail is 1 cost these horses 9 out of 10 require so much after care cost. Hay alone right now is drowning us
We do everything we can possibly do to help other rescues who reach out that may need help we try to network horses when asked for help we do it all solely to try and help these horses in the world that need it✨️

We have the same reoccurring donors and we know times are tough . Everyone is feeling it and I totally get that but if you can spare a share even a 1 $ or 5$ donation it truly helps us help the horses .
We have not been even hitting a half point of our hay goals.
