Here is another photo from our amazing Donkey Club Open House!

Donkey Club Open House is our annual spring event where we invite kids from the community to come meet the donkeys, enjoy fun activities, and learn what Donkey Club is all about. From brushing donkeys and racing stick donkeys to games, crafts, and lots of smiles, it was such a fun day for everyone involved.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s event so special! We can’t wait for another wonderful season of Donkey Club adventures.

Do you know that I have a Donkey Vet Club? We meet once a month to learn from vets and other animal professionals. Yesterday we learned to use a stethoscope on the donkeys. Let me know if your girl wants to join.

Did you know that the world population of donkeys has plummeted because of the donkey skin trade? Here is some good news from Brazil.

NEWS: A landmark ruling has banned the slaughter of donkeys across Brazil's state of Bahia. 👏

We welcome this momentous step to protect Brazil's donkeys from the cruel skin trade, following a devastating 94% population decline in the last 30 years.

Donkey Club Open House was such a wonderful success! We had around 30 kids and 15 adults join us for a fun-filled day at the barn, and it was such a joy to see everyone enjoying time with the donkeys.

The kids had a blast with the shaving cream activity, fishing donkey ducks, and racing their stick donkeys all around the paddock!

Of course, the donkeys were thrilled too—they absolutely loved all the extra brushes and attention.

It was truly an amazing day full of smiles, learning, and donkey love. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it so special!

Does your child like donkeys? Come to our annual kid-centered event next Saturday at M. White Stables from 11 am-1 pm. We will have games, food, and prizes. Best of all it is free.
