There is a pine beetle infestation in the trees at Henderson Park. These infestations can spread quickly and require immediate attention. To combat it, the City of Tucker has begun taking down affected trees in the area between the tennis courts and the dog park. All facilities will remain open during this time.

The process is expected to take about five days. If you have questions, please contact [email protected].

The Friends of Tucker Parks want to determine the type of educational programming and activities that would bring the Tucker community out to the parks. They desire to increase community involvement at the parks. They have reached out to Mercer University to help with data collection. We would like you to complete this short needs assessment that will help guide programming and activity recommendations. All responses will be anonymous. If you have questions, please contact Dr. Leah Panther at [email protected] (Mercer University) or Leonard Howell at [email protected] (Friends of Tucker Parks).

You can access the survey via the link below.

The Friends of Tucker Parks is interested in hearing what programs, events, and resources you would like our volunteers to provide in Tucker parks for families and youth. With the support of Mercer University doctoral students, this survey will provide insights on the community’s needs and wants. ...
