General information

I am a private rescue helping puppies by giving them a better chance at life. My goal is to provide them the love and care they deserve and find them their forever homes. In the next few months I will have fully setup my rescue space to accommodate more on a much more comfortable level. With a full large metal barn and several comfortable kennels we hope to have things running on a more professional scale. On top of the physical upgrades, we are now a registered Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation, and our next step will be working towards our 501c3 to become an officially recognized Non-Profit Rescue. So many exciting things to come in the next several months! We are located in Trenton, Florida but have traveled throughout central Florida.

My Compassion

My name is Leslie and I have always loved animals. I have grown up around many different pets ranging from rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, to dogs, cats, and pigs. I have had a wide variety as an adult with ponies and horses, dogs, cats, a cockatiel and even a bearded dragon.

My education consist of an Associates in Business and a Bachelor in Gerontology with a Minor in Psychology. My educational field was working with the elderly, understanding dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and working with families of individuals who suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia so they can become better caretakers of their loved ones. However, life often throws us curve balls we do not see coming and changes our paths for us.

That is what lead me to follow my second passion, the animals, and their cause.

I have been rescuing animals for many years now but have become fully invested in the cause about 7 years ago. I have always used my own funding to care for these animals, get them all vet care needed. I am never in any hurry to re-home my rescues as I am perfectly capable of caring for them till I find the home that is just perfect for them to move to.
