For more than a century the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has worked to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. The Trenton Branch Executive Committee and Membership are VOLUNTEERS and work in concert to successfully impact the following six NAACP Game Changers and address theses major areas of inequality facing African Americans:

Today, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson presented updated information on voting rights, the Census, and bills protecting NJ citizens writ large. The strongest message, having a strong voter turnout helps send the message that we understand our power as a citizenry, and we deserve to benefit from decision that support us and protect us as a community as a whole. We are inspired by your leadership and incredible legacy. We are very proud of our Branch Secretary Roomana Khan for being awarded the NJSC Secretary of the Year Award for her service and outstanding contributions to the Trenton Branch.
