Millhill is a non-profit that helps children, youth and families in the Trenton area to improve their quality of life through services that educate, empower, and transform. Millhill provides educational, counseling, family support services and youth engagement using both an individualized and collaborative approach in a safe, nurturing atmosphere. Our services are designed to improve the quality o

f life of the families in Greater Trenton with these goals in mind:
• Ages 0 - 5: Safe, healthy, ready to learn
• Ages 5 - 18: At home, in school, out of trouble
• Ages 18+/Adults: Educated, ready to work, productive

What a day! Thank you, !

Our Millhill Pre-K families had an incredible time at Family Day hosted by our friends at Grounds For Sculpture. Seeing our students’ artwork featured in the “Storybook Sculptures” exhibition was pure magic. The pride on their faces said it all.

We’re especially grateful to Grounds For Sculpture for making the event free for all Millhill Pre-K families and staff, and for providing bus transportation to and from Millhill. That support helped so many families attend who otherwise couldn’t have. Thank you for celebrating our young artists and giving them a real gallery experience.

Our families left inspired, connected, and already asking when we can go back.

Calling all future scientists, coders, and engineers in 6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th grade!

Join us for a 6-week summer adventure in STEM.

Program Details:

6-Week Program: July 13th - August 21st
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm daily, Mon-Fri
Who: Students entering grades 6-9
From robotics to chemistry labs, coding challenges to design projects, every week brings new discoveries.

We're still fighting for Millhill's Early Childhood Education Program and we need your help.

Our community has spoken, but the work isn't done. We're calling on Trenton Public Schools, the Trenton Board of Education, and city, county, and state leaders to act now. Restore funding and reverse these harmful cuts.

Here's what's at stake if these cuts stand:

🔹 Young children lose access to a proven, high-quality early education program
🔹 Working families lose reliable, full-day preschool
🔹 Critical supports including nutrition, before/after care, and mental and behavioral health services disappear
🔹 Families who have trusted Millhill for over 55 years face new, unnecessary barriers
🔹 Absenteeism rises as children are pushed into less stable care

This is not just a budget decision. These are real children and real families.

Disrupt young children’s learning and deny them a strong educational foundation at a proven, high-quality program.

Harm working families by reducing access to reliable, full-day preschool

Eliminate critical supports, including before and after care, nutrition, and mental and behavioral health services

Create new barriers for families who have relied on Millhill for over 55 years

Increase absenteeism by forcing children into less stable care arrangements

Trenton families need you NOW 🚨

For 55+ years, Millhill Child & Family Development Center has been a lifeline for our kids and working parents. We are calling on Trenton Public Schools, the Trenton Board of Education, and City of Trenton, Mercer County, and State leaders to take immediate action to restore and protect funding and reverse these unjust and harmful cuts to Millhill.

Funding cuts to Millhill will:

Disrupt young children’s learning and deny them a strong educational foundation at a proven, high-quality program.

Harm working families by reducing access to reliable, full-day preschool

Eliminate critical supports, including before and after care, nutrition, and mental and behavioral health

Create new barriers for families who have relied on Millhill for over 55 years

Increase absenteeism by forcing children into less stable care arrangements

We demand that funding be restored without delay and that Milllhill’s Early Childhood Education program be fully protected so every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
