I was proud to march in the Nottingham Memorial Day Parade and the Groveville-Yardville Memorial Day Parade yesterday in my hometown of Hamilton, as our community came together to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Thank you to the organizers, veterans organizations, local leaders, first responders, and residents who continue to keep these parades strong year after year. At 154 years, the Groveville-Yardville parade is the oldest Memorial Day procession in our state, and among the oldest in New Jersey! It was great seeing so many families and community members come out to continue these cherished traditions.

Monday May 25, Groveville Yardville Memorial Day Parade Is ON, despite the weather.
At this point if it downpours thunder or lightning we will make the call at 8 -8:30.
At this time again the Groveville Yardville Memorial Day Parade WE WILL KICK OFF THE PARADE @ 8:30 to honor our fallen hereos!

Today Sunday May 24, we continued our Groveville-Yardville Memorial Day events in Groveville, here in our little old country home town church, Groveville United Methodist joined by our sister church Crosswicks United Methodist, with our memorial day / Pentecost service followed by our wreath laying service @ the World World 1 and World War 2 monuments
Taps was played by Mr. Hawke from Bethlehem, PA
After these services a potluck luncheon was served at Groveville UMC along with Crosswicks UMC joining us .

The Groveville Groveville-Yardville Memorial Day Parade has all intention on proceeding with the parade at 8:30am sharp!
The parade president is in contact with our Hamiton Township Mayor on this forgoing weather forecast.
The Groveville Yardville Memorial Day Parade has been running continously for 156 years and only been canceled twice!!
There will be notifications on our page if the parade is canceled!
We the Groveville Yardville Memorial Day Parade Committee will hope to see you on the parade route!
