Traverse Bay Area Central Labor Council We are democratically elected bodies dedicated to represent the interests of working people at the state and local level.

As a Central Labor Body affiliated with the AFL-CIO, the Traverse Bay Area Central Labor Council will join 378 other Central Labor Councils/Area Labor Federations across the United States. We mobilize our members and community partners to advocate for social and economic justice and we strive daily to vanquish oppression and make our communities better for all people—regardless of race, color, gen

der, religion, age, sexual orientation, or ethnic or national origin. It is the local-most labor federation, with Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Missaukee and Wexford counties within its jurisdiction.
