We are a little over a week away from what will be a sold-out Evening Among the Trees, and we have found ourselves without a photographer! Gunpowder Valley Conservancy is looking for someone willing to donate their time to help us capture this special evening.

We are seeking approximately two hours of photography during the event, plus an estimated two hours afterward for photo selection and basic editing. This annual fundraiser brings together supporters, who care deeply about protecting the forests, streams, farms, and open spaces that make the Gunpowder watershed such a special place. Having great photos helps us share the impact of this work and recognize the people who make it possible.

Carl has a passion for historic storytelling, so questions are encouraged.

So you've heard of Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC), but what do we do? We are happy to share that with you!

First, some history:
Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is a Baltimore County-based land trust and watershed restoration nonprofit organization. Formed in 1989, GVC is committed to clean water for the two million people who live in, visit or benefit from the Gunpowder watershed by preserving land, restoring ecosystems, and encouraging people to become environmental stewards.
