When I first started my "Journey of Wool" I learned quickly; 1. How hard it was to find a mentor or teacher (Especially one that didn't want a large amount of money.) And 2. How insanely expensive everything was.
Part of my objective in what I do is to help other take the "Journey of Wool" which means helping it be affordable. To that end I invested in; tools, books, a 3D printer and hundreds of hours of learning.
Today I offer Mentoring in Shepherding and husbandry, Teach over a dozen wool arts and the many tools needed to do these arts. The picture in this post is a 'Band clamp' for back strap weaving. The cheapest I have found these to purchase online is 18 dollars. I am now making them and will sell them for 10 dollars. I will ship them for the cost of shipping (no handling charges). If you are interested in getting one or a few of these please contact me via Email; [email protected] OR text 1 eight 0 two 3 seven 6 six 3 four 5.
If you are looking for classes or mentorship you can contact me the same way. I am located in Townshend Vermont and glad to work with folks on an individual or small group basis for a price you can afford.
I offer young people up to 18 years old all these things free of charge.
If you would like to make a donation to help support the critters we rescue, help cover the cost of materials i make tools with or as a sponsorship to help cover the costs of the free classes for young people you can do so in the following ways;
