🎯 COMMUNITY CO****LE TOURNAMENT – SAVE THE DATE! 🎯

We’re thinking about putting together a fun community co****le tournament on June 27th, and before making it official we wanted to see how much interest there is! Grab a partner, come hang out, enjoy good food, and support a great cause. 🐾

💰 Entry Fee:
• $20 per person
• $40 per team

🏆 Tournament payout:

50% of ALL tournament entry fees will go directly to the winning team
🐱 The other 50% of tournament entry fees will be donated to support our local TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) Community Cat Program fundraiser.

🍔 J&B BBQ Food Truck will also be there serving food at their regular menu pricing.

To clarify: Food purchases are completely separate and do not go toward tournament winnings or the TNR fundraiser. Food sales go directly to J&B BBQ.

Friends and neighbors
Help prevent so many kittens and puppies from being born. It is really bad right now in the rescue/shelter world.
Dr. Bruce is coming to Eldo and her prices are very affordable. They fix between 40-60 animals a clinic. Send an email to her ([email protected]) to make an appointment.
Dog or cat pregnant already? She does spay births at no additional charge. Pet in heat? She will spay. Feral cats? She will fix at the same cost as a house cat.

There is no sponsorship available for any spots at this clinic. However, we are working behind the scenes to kick off another fundraiser for our Towanda community cats. This is a great resource available to get pets and ferals fixed at a reasonable cost.

For those who may be feeding a colony of cats or many of your own, this is a great deal at Bomgaars! You must have their rewards program but it’s so worth it! They have good deals on pet food frequently.

Today’s the day!!!!!
19 cats are on the vet trailer and will undergo surgery to stop producing more kittens in our community!
Thank you to everyone who supported, donated, attended our spay-ghetti feed and lent us traps. We appreciate Circle School District for allowing Bruce Veterinary Services to park at the high school. Thunderbird Grill LLC - Towanda, KS provided a meal for the vet staff. We could not do this without you all!

Our clinic is two weeks away!
We have funds for 23 spots and have filled those up. Another 17 cats were placed on a list to get fixed as we obtain funds.

My question to our residents: what shall we do to help raise funds that the community would support? I’ve thought of a few but would love to get community feedback.

Remember, there is only a small handful of us doing behind the scenes work so it’s got to be easy to accomplish. The give-back nights at restaurants is easy planning and executing so that will probably be a consistent fundraiser at different places around Butler County.

Can we raise another $1500 to try to clear even more cats off our waiting list before the clinic in two weeks? Drop off money in our jars or Venmo it to Paws in Oz with Towanda cats in memo.

Thank you Gambino's Pizza - Towanda, KS and citizens who made our fundraiser a success. You all helped us raise $124.50! That will help fix another Towanda feline!

Remember to fill out the form to get help fixing your cats. We now have 21 sponsored spots for the March 19 clinic. We are in the homestretch and all money raised will continue to add sponsored spots.

If you are willing and able to self pay for your cats to get fixed, email the vet directly to set up a slot for the clinic. Her email is [email protected]. It is $101 per cat to get fixed and rabies.

If you need traps or cat carriers to borrow, please reach out. If you have traps we can borrow, please let us know.

We will continue to raise money even after this clinic to continue to work on getting outside cats fixed in town. This is a long-term project that we will continue to pursue.

A way to help raise funds for the feral cats in Towanda is to stop by the El Dorado Arby’s on Tuesday. It’s an all day event where we get 20% back from sales that day. Mention this promotion or show the flyer for us to get credit!

Towanda residents!
Want to get on the list to get community cats fixed? Or know of a location with a bunch of cats who need fixed?

Please fill this form out so we can provide more details on getting your cat fixed. Caretakers are not required to pay any money but any contribution to cost will help get more cats fixed in town.

Spots will be on a first come, first serve basis as long as we have funding. The first clinic will be held March 19. If you have questions, let us know!

By filling this out, you agree that the fixed cats will be brought back to their territory and let live out their life there and you will continue to provide food, water and shelter.

We have almost $2000 for our cat clinic March 19. Eating at Arby’s on Tuesday will help add to that amount and get more cats fixed. Be sure to mention us or show them the flyer!

Later today, a link will be shared to sign up to get on the list to get outside cats in your care fixed. At this time, we will be able to fix 20 cats at this clinic at no cost to the caregivers. If you’d like to pay for the surgery and rabies vaccine yourself, you can make an appointment directly with the vet at [email protected].
If you have any questions, let us know. If you’d like to donate money to help fix more cats, please message us. Even after this clinic, we will continue to raise the money to fix cats. This will be a long term project to help our community.
