Founded in October 2012, the first Corgi Beach Day had 15 corgis and has grown to over 1200+ corgis and over 14,000 attendees at each event! We have 4 main events per year:

OUR NEXT EVENT IS: JANUARY 1st, 2023 for CORGI WINTER NATIONALS at Santa Anita Park, scroll below for more info! Corgi Beach Day is a pet-centric, family-friendly festival that welcomes corgis and , (all dogs are welcome at Corgi Beach Day) and is the biggest breed specific event in the world! Founded in October 2012, the first Corgi Beach Day started with just 15 corgis and rapidly grew to over 1200+ corgis and thousands of pet-loving attendees at each event- along with local, national and worldwide media coverage. THE NEXT CORGI BEACH DAY IS APRIL 1st, 2023 Corgi Beach Day happens twice yearly, Spring and Fall. Join us Saturday April 1st, 10am-3pm at Huntington Dog Beach, CA. ALL DOGS ( ) AND HUMANS WELCOME. We are super excited to launch brand new contests & events in the main arena, new event layout, themed interactive-style pet/owner experiences, stations, gourmet food trucks, giveaways and of course, our vendor village, which includes a curated group of dozens of pet-centric vendors! Corgi Beach Day is ALWAYS free to attend and is guaranteed to be a fun-filled day with something for everyone! CORGI RACES! Corgi Nationals is our newest event, started in 2018 at the historic Santa Anita Park Racetrack in Arcadia, CA. Corgi Nationals quickly became a hit- our first year was the most attended event at Santa Anita Park. Like Corgi Beach Day, this corgi-friendly event features our vendor village, gourmet food trucks, giveaways and of course, THE MAIN EVENT, CORGI RACES…ALL DAY. LONG, with the semi-finals and finals taking place right on the big track! The event has grown so much, we’ve recently added another date and now hold TWO Corgi Nationals events per year- Corgi Winter Nationals, which takes place the first weekend of January and our original Corgi Nationals, taking place every Memorial Day weekend. Corgi Beach Day has partnered since 2013 with a local corgi and corgi mix rescue, Queen's Best Stumpy Dog Rescue. Queen's Best, or QBSDR, has helped rescue over 100 dogs since they began in 2013. So Cal Corgi Nation is proud to donate a portion of their proceeds to QBSDR, aiding them to continue to "save low riders, one bark at the time!"
