DASH Update from the Board of Directors

Thank you to everyone who completed the Boys & Girls Club survey. Your feedback confirmed the strong need for these services in our community. The Board has decided to work towards establishing a Boys & Girls Club in the Deubrook Community, with a goal of opening in summer 2027. (Stay tuned in the months ahead for more information about this!) While a club will not be operational this summer, DASH will offer its final summer program in 2026.

2026 Summer DASH Details:
Dates: May 26 - August 7
Location: Deubrook Elementary School, Toronto
Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is exploring the possibility of establishing a Club in Deubrook School District. Before we take this important step, we need to hear directly from you-the residents, parents, educators, business owners, and community leaders who understand Deubrook School District's unique needs and opportunities. DASH is looking for a Program Director and Program Assistants for our summer-only childcare program. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Are you passionate about working with children and leading a vibrant program? DASH, a non-profit after-school program serving preschool-6th grade in the Deubrook Area School District, is looking for a dedicated Director to oversee operations, staff, and program development. This position is for the months of mid-March through mid-August.

🔹 Responsibilities: Staff supervision, scheduling, licensing, financial management & more!
🔹 Preferred: Education background, leadership experience, grant writing skills.
